IEEE PES Helwan Student Chapter started with a new vision to care about women and increase their skills through Technical Events, as it’s the second year after creating PES Chapter we have started with WIP activity

Objective

As PES Women Volunteers we thought about Teaching Students about Renewable Energy and Electronics, We went through two tracks online, offline.
Online: Sharing Women in Power activities, who we are and what we do:
Offline: On 1/4/2018 We went to Hassan Abo Bakr school and gave two sessions about Renewable Energy, solar Energy and Basics of Electronics, We used a practical components and live videos to teach student how to work practical not just theoretical, about 100 students attended this workshop and here is some photos from our event

2017

(women in power) event after a meeting with “Basha’er El-Fajr” girls’ orphanage, Women inside IEEE PES Helwan student chapter started to plan for the session and workshops which can be very interesting and joyful to junior. And it was chosen the to give them the knowledge about “How to make a solar power bank”.
